Maltese musicians headline Fête de la Musique in Berlin

Malta at the Fête de la Musique in Berlin! Udjenza in collaboration with the Embassy of Malta in Berlin proudly presents The New Victorians, Alexandra Alden and Alien Grace in Berlin to celebrate the beginning of summer as part of an open air music festival, the Fête de la Musique. Berlin based Alien Grace, a six- band balkan inspired rock band featuring Maltese guitarist Dan Ganado will also join the line-up! Every year on the 21st of June, musicians and bands play live music in the streets of Berlin for free. In total, there are over one hundred venues - open-air and indoor - across the city, most of them in the inner city districts of Friedrichshain- Kreuzberg, Mitte and Pankow. On the 20th of June, Alexandra Alden will headline the line-up at 9pm in Lipschitzplatz. On the 21st the Maltese artists will perform opposite Berlin’s townhouse, the Rotes Rathaus, at Neptunbrunnen. Alien Grace will perform at 2pm, Alexandra Alden at 16:15 and the New Victorians at 17:15. The “Fête de la Musique Berlin” is organized and coordinated by the Musicboard Berlin on behalf of the Senate Department for Culture and Europe. The project is supported by the Cultural Diplomacy Fund of Malta’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and Trade.
