Sunshine Girl – Audition Call

AUDITION CALL: THE SUNSHINE GIRL Inspired by The Sunshine Girls, the legendary troupe of queer performers who lit up Malta’s stages in the 1980s, we are thrilled to announce auditions for The Sunshine Girl, a bold new music-theatre piece. With music by Kris Spiteri and book by Malcolm Galea, The Sunshine Girl follows the story of one of the Sunshine Girls as she embarks on a moving journey to discover her truest, most authentic self. Behind the glitz and glamour of the Sunshine Bar lies a deeper story of truth, strength, and resilience.

Casting Call: We are currently looking for a transgender woman to take on the lead role of Rose - a captivating, glamorous character who must navigate the vibrant yet challenging world of 1980s Malta on her path to self-discovery.
